Welcome to CleanEntries.com (“CleanEntries,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, and payment platform (collectively, the “Service”). By using CleanEntries.com, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

1. Overview of Our Service

CleanEntries.com provides an online platform that allows meet hosts to organize diving competitions and enables divers, coaches, and teams to register and pay entry fees electronically. CleanEntries acts as a technology and payment facilitator only — not as a meet host or event organizer.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or make payments. Minors may use the Service only under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or coach who accepts these Terms on their behalf.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Keep your login credentials secure.
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account.

CleanEntries reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account suspected of fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

4. Payments and Fees
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor.
  • CleanEntries does not store or have access to your full payment card information.
  • Each transaction includes an Online Event Management Fee (currently 8%) in addition to per-event entry fees.
  • Refunds are not issued by CleanEntries. To request a refund, you must contact the meet host directly.
  • By submitting payment, you authorize the total charge to your chosen payment method.
5. Relationship Between Users and Meet Hosts

CleanEntries provides the platform for event registration and payment but does not organize, manage, or oversee diving meets. Any disputes, scheduling changes, refunds, or issues related to event participation are the sole responsibility of the meet host. CleanEntries is not liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising from participation in any event.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
  • Access or attempt to access another user’s account.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or harmful materials.
  • Scrape, copy, or reproduce any part of the Service without written permission.

Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your access.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, and materials on CleanEntries.com are the property of CleanEntries or its licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any portion of the Service without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” CleanEntries makes no warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied, about:

  • The accuracy or reliability of event information,
  • The performance or availability of the Service, or
  • The outcomes of any diving competition or related activity.

Use of the Service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CleanEntries and its owners, affiliates, and agents shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,
  • Any loss of data, revenue, or profits,
  • Any disputes or claims between users and meet hosts.

Our total liability for any claim related to your use of the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to CleanEntries in the past 12 months.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CleanEntries, its officers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective Date” above will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in misuse of the platform.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Monroe County, New York.
